Probably, there was post-P4 stuff in the Golden. Who knows. It's probably just Marie working her way through meteorology school.

Watching western people's reaction to this is amazing. You guys should watch (or stay away from, depending on how you feel about this) more asian shows. They are pretty dumb.

I remember finishing the original P4 and feeling down because I thought I'd never see the cast again.

I am now fairly positive that my children will see a new Persona 4 game/spin-off in their lifetime.

I actually wouldn't mind all that IF they showed something with a bit more substance. They've been milking Persona 3 and 4 a lot, so I was hoping for an HD release.

I'm torn between whether Atlus is slowly flying off the rails or hitting their stride.

maybe its a bit of both? i mean, they finally found a hit franchise for them between persona 3 and 4, hence the multiple spin off products

While not watching the stream at all, reading/seeing these Gifs looks like it was a spectacular success and they tricked everyone into not caring about no information about P5 and announcing another cashgrab on the P4 series

I'm gonna have to get a Vita before the new series gets underway, I want to play through it and see the new stuff before watching the anime. I was under the impression that the new game had a lot of side stuff going on, but nothing too substantial. Maybe that is wrong, but are they going to try to get 20+ episodes of content just out of material from golden?

If you guys missed it, there's a new Persona Q trailer with a lot more details on the gameplay.

The best bit was the 30 minute extended look of the Persona 3 movie. It showed most of the story beats, but it looks like it will be at least entertaining. I'm hoping for a dub coming soon, or at least when all 3 films are released.

Yeah, the new Persona Q trailer is the best part of the Persona stuff today. Looking quite good.

I just realized that the studio (A-1) behind the new Golden anime also made Persona: Trinity Soul, a show so bad Atlus pretends it never happened. Also they did mention on the stream that a P5 trailer may be coming in 3 weeks

Yea its kind of a shame its in 3 films but totally understand separating it out (they are big stories). My plan is to wait for all 3 to be out but knowing myself by the time the second one is available I wont be able to wait much longer

@fluxwavez: It's not that much longer until the game comes out, so it wouldn't surprise me if a trailer that actually fucking showed something came out soon.

They're focusing on Persona Q and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax media right now and they haven't started the media cycle for Persona 4 Dancing, either.

Either way, I'm saying that I don't think they mentioned Persona 5 news in the coming weeks during the stream at all, since the only source I've seen for the couple of people stating that was /v/.

I'm thinking that it won't be very visually impressive and that it might rub a lot of people the wrong way. Maybe that won't happen, but Persona 4 came out practically 2 years after last gen started. It gained momentum because it wasn't expected, but now, people are waiting to have their minds blown.

Not quite sure that what people want to see most out of Persona 5 is a graphical masterpiece, either.

I don't think it's 100% guaranteed, but I think it's a possibility due to the scope of the Persona games. They're huge. Catherine was definitely not. Neither is a dancing game.

I haven't really been feeling Persona Q, until now. I think that trailer finally sold me.

I'm 100% sure the character models will not look as good as Catherine. There was a lot of trickery involved in pulling that off.

But something around Dancing's level seems possible.

So their "significant announcement" was another Persona 4 cartoon? That's slightly disappointing.

Oh thank GOD they got a different studio to do the Golden anime.

That alone makes me excited for it.
