I've been getting a craving for an RPG on the PS4 and Skyrim seems a little too far for me to wait for. Any suggestions duders?

I just made a thread on Fallout 4 and how it's my favorite Bethesda game. I have no idea how it runs on PS4, however. I play the PC version.

Witcher 3 is pretty good, but again, PC version here.

One of those 2 should do you well.

hmm if you don't mind action rpg's then Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne if you haven't played them already. JRPG's Tales Of Zesteria is solid, not the greatest Tales game though, Valkyria Chronicles remaster if you want some strategy rpg, highly reccomend that. Witcher 3, Divinity: Original Sin, Dragon Age Inquisition if you want a more western type of rpg.

oh yeah Deus Ex Mankind Divided comes out real soon, so that's worth looking into as well.

Pretty much everything thats been said in the thread already. Final fantasy 15 and persona 5 are game too look for in the future as well.

You could try elder scrolls online if skyrim is your thing. Havent tried the full game personally though, beta was cool.

If you like Dragon Age style action combat, I'd suggest Neverwinter. It's free to play, there's a ton of content, and you can solo almost everything if you don't like the idea of playing with other people. For more info, see this thread.

Dragon Age Inquisition, Divinity Original Sin, The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, and I think Wasteland 2 is on the PS4 as well.

im definitely going to have to look for a couple of these QL's to see what they play like, especially divinity and tales of zesteria

Diablo III

Dragon Age Inquisition is pretty good and the Witcher 3 is excellent, and both really dont require any knowledge of the previous games to have a good time or enjoy the story. Since you mentioned Skyrim, Fallout 4 might be up your alley, or, if you're okay with waiting a couple of days, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be out on Tuesday. Of course Bloodborne, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, and Dark Souls 3 are all on PS4 as well.

Yup, wasteland 2 is great fun on ps4!
