so i haven't even touched HOME since the first day it came out. downloaded the damn thing, went into the courtyard, started dancing, and played a couple of bowling games. and thats about it, turned it off and haven't come back to it. So if you are among the few who have recently visited HOME, has it improved? or is still the same shit from day one??
PlayStation Home
Game » consists of 1 releases. Released Dec 11, 2008
PlayStation Home was a social games network where PSN users could play games and socialize. Home saw a refocus in Fall 2011 in North America and Europe that put more emphasis on games than social spaces.
When is the last time you visited HOME??
Last Thursday I went on.
If you want to know how it's improved, why don't you login yourselves instead of making a thread?

good point, but before HOME came out i had some high hopes for it. but obviously my heart was broken and i was thinking about commiting scuicide. so i want some feedback before i give it a second chance. and one more thing, you don't have to be a douchebag about me making a thread about this. this is a free community, and if i have the need to post a thread about anything, i have the right to. its not like im taking up forum space.

I try to check it out at least once a week because a lot of my friends are there often. It still functions the same but there are a lot more things to buy, a few more places to visit (and some of them are pretty cool), and less people there to "e-rape" other people. The trailers that run everywhere seem to be different every time I go in, which is sorta interesting as well. Why not just go take a look?
Meh, I'll go on there when I want a good laugh. My obese female avatar with pig tails always gets people talking.... Just kidding.
When they implemented the Red Bull races. Thought the races were mediocre and haven't touched Home since.
It's still as worthless as ever imo. If wasting money on virtual cowboy hats is your thing then you'll have a blast.
You can totally get a Rorschach/Nite Owl costume for free.
The Resident Evil space actually sounds interesting. There seem to be plenty of things on there for those people who have bought the game. I'm curious to find out what they are!
Late January I think. Red Bull had been added. Couldn't figure out how to start a race so I left that otherwise ferociously pointless space to re-enter the similarly pointless but also slightly offensive shopping mall thing. Some new stuff was free, so I downloaded that and proceeded to do absolutely nothing with it. Except for those chairs I made a big pile of in my apartment. Also made my couch levitate on the balcony somehow. If you sit on it you get trapped when you get off. The excitement never ends.
What more mad fun did I get up to... There was a space for Far Cry 2, in which you can walk around, or run around if you're feeling mad crazy with creativity. You could play Mancala, theoretically, in practice you play the waiting game. I was reluctant to revisit the theater after past experiences, but I gave it another shot. Yup, lingering feeling of disgusting marketing still present, like the swoosh of an ass cloud. Why does anyone willingly enter that place?
"Couldn't figure out how to start a race so I left "What a nightmare starting the races up is (was? Don't know if they changed anything). You have to stand directly in front of one of the planes and position your camera in just the right spot for the target menu to pop up. It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't 15 people standing in front of the places forcing you to target them instead of the planes.

I like the little trailers and stuff like that and there was that one weekend where they ran the first 10 minutes of Resident Evil Degeneration, which was kinda cool. Other than that stuff, I go in there and talk to people when they're having normal conversations.
I checked it out again last Saturday
Some christian dude stalked me and tried to covince me in christianity after i said i was a atheist.
No joke.HOME is wierd.

lol.....wow. what you said kinda made me feel like i SHOULD check out HOME again.
I don't have a PS3, so I guess my sentiments are not entirely founded. But I've felt that Home is, right now, nothing more than a chassis, that is unpopular due to its perceived unfinished state. And it is unfinished, but I think when it becomes outfitted (the way it was supposed to be,) it will be far more popular than it is today.
I tried it on the first day of release. I made a fat avatar with a beard. I could not believe how many 10 year old losers made fun of my avatar.
Home was pathetic, it was just a bunch of guys swarming every girl avatar they saw.
I got the Beta, played it a bit. THen when it came out, i realised it was 3G, and deleted it. Now that space is taken out with Mgs4...I have never ever not regretted something as much as deleting PsHome.
I checked it out for the first time a few weeks ago. Great idea, but man, it's fatally flawed. It's an unnecessary interface, there's not a whole lot to do, and frankly, its unnecessary. If Sony revamped it for the next Plastation as its main hub for all user features (i.e. replace the XMB with Home somehow), then I'd totally like it. But as it is, it just feels unnecessary and undersupported.
I went on again yesterday but I rarely ever get on. I usually mess around with it for like 15-20 minutes, then I don't really visit for a pretty long time.
