@ravelle: DBZ english VO is totally ok! This though... urg, I've always turned on japanes VO for naruto games as the first thing that I do so i've never experienced this but wow is Naruto whiny and annoying in english
Oh yeah, the Dragonball Dub is really good although Japanese Vegeta is amazing and the Japananese Goku and King Kai are really awful.
Yearly reminded to the public at large that the Dragon Ball dub is really awful and people just have nostalgia for it because it was their gateway anime they watched as a kid.
It's still better than most english dubs these days though.
It's really not. Terribly rewritten inaccurate scripts, terrible acting, awful voices on characters like Kaio and Freeza. It is far worse than your average anime dub. Naruto at least doesn't totally rewrite the show and is lame in the same ways the original was lame.

In addition to the messed up intro Double Dragon 2 Arcade has a very somber and depressing ending. Messaging about the futility of revenge rather than the happy ending in the NES version.
I wish this game were good. Ever since first watching someone play this game I've loved the core idea of this alien clone replacing kid Curtis, leaving him in this different realm where he mutates and grows to hate the one who took his place. It's a fantastic premise, but everything else is pretty terrible unfortunately.
Is multiplayer a major component? Why not pull a GTA V and release the multiplayer stuff later. I can't imagine people are coming to this for multiplayer.
Typically, Japanese game development is a release all-at-once or don't release-at-all mentality.
Funny you mention that what with SFV's story mode getting released as free DLC!
MGSV also had the same thing happen with its competitive multiplayer.
