Did a test of an authentic ROM of this game to show how much higher Luigi is supposed to jump in the real game, that jump is not supposed to be hard. You guys have some kind of bootleg.
You guys are playing some kind of weird bootleg version of this game, the game is supposed to change your name to Luigi when playing as Luigi. Physics looked like they weren't changing for him either.
I really don't like the way the framerate dies for a split second whenever you attack a zombie.
That's a Japanese thing, it's meant to help convey the impact of an attack and is entirely on purpose. I like it personally, really gives you a sense of power when you do some huge attack that hits a ton of zombies but I could see why some people wouldn't like it.
I like how you arbitrarily can't talk to Tom about Warehouse Number 8 because he actually works at the docks where the warehouses are, so you would just immediately circumvent this whole part of the search. So to solve this they just won't let Ryo ask him for zero reason. Good game design.
The Metroid 2 Remake isn't perfect, but it's still a really solid game and a hell of a lot more interesting than the actual "Metroid" game Nintendo put out this week. I'd definitely recommend checking it out to anyone who's a fan of Super Metroid and/or the GBA games.
