I respect any platform that helped lead to where we are today. Systems like the Atari 2600 and the Intellivision were hugely influential, even though I never got the chance to play them.
Preordered the limited edition and I am hoping it comes on release day. If not, I'll just wait on it. Really looking forward to getting my hands on it.
I never had a PC that could run it, so I will definitely be getting it day 1. I liked what I played of Crysis 2 and I am looking forward to seeing how the mechanics work in a jungle setting as opposed to an urban one. I am getting a futuristic Far Cry vibe from it and I like it!
Even though I am hopefully getting both of them, I would easily go with Rage. Dark Souls looks a lot like Demons Souls, which I have already put a good bit of time into. Rage looks a lot like a mix of Borderlands and Fallout 3, a mix that very much appeals to my tastes.
I wish it would be ported as well. When I got to thinking about it, I wondered if Nintendo has any kind of claim on it. The game has only appeared on the Gamecube and Wii as far as I know. It would be great to see such a classic return!
