His tweet doesn't necessarily mean he dislikes Uncharted. It's always good to hear more than one argument, and that article is a well written piece presenting another side. It still gave Uncharted 3 a very good review, just not to the same heights as other sites.

I didn't fully agree with the whole scriptedness taking away from the experience, but it was still a great read. I found the idea of it being so cinematic that it lost a lot of what makes it a video game an interesting take

Did every one get this totally hyped for Bad Company 2? Because BF3 kind of looks exactly like Bad Company 2 but with bigger maps, more dudes on said maps, and pretty lighting

Hands down my favorite is The Wind Waker. For some reason Ocarina of Time isn't the end all be all zelda that it is for so many people, I liked Twilight Princess better than Ocarina. I'd also take the Oracle of Ages/Seasons games over A Link to the Past

Chill out dude. Whether you like CoD of Battlefield better is a personal preference. You getting all mad over someone liking Call of Duty better is the most childish thing in your entire post.

Or cheaper, I got AC Brotherhood for 80 cents. I don't know how those guys make money, I've spent $20 on there and gotten Trine, Darksiders, Alpha Protocol, AC Brotherhood, and Borderlands GOTY. Sure, it's not the smoothest way possible to play games, but hey, at those prices, I'll take the hit.

Now I love me some Zelda, but for some reason I was a little worried about the scope of this game. Probably due to the fact that all they've really shown are two different areas over, but it's great to know that's not an issue. I've always loved the franchise and I'm totally ready for another Zelda game, even if it were more of the same. Heck I even loved Twilight Princess which it seems a lot of people consider the worst of the 3D games. I really dig the art direction in motion (screen shots don't really do it any favors), can't wait to dive into another big old Zelda adventure.

I like the new TNT better than the old TNT. Just sayin'. Playing with the community makes for a nice activity and all but it's typically not very fun to watch. I think the new format makes TNTs more watchable.

It's a very fine line you have to walk to be able to fall into the categories of both entertainment and education. Video games and and movies derive most of their entertainment from conflict. Take any main stream video game and it's going to be based around some large conflict of sorts. If one tries to educate the player about a large conflict such as war or murder, that's going to be one dark game you have on on your hands there. Violence in real life is not something people tend to think about when playing a video game. Forcing the player to make that connection would make playing that video game a painful experience. As of now, people still play video games to have fun. With the rise in production values that may include a much deeper story and emotional impact, but at it's core, it still has to be fun/entertaining to play.

I do agree that there are subtle lessons that can be taught through video games, but to be effective they really need to be ingrained enough into the actual game that players aren't thinking "oh wait, this game is trying to teach me something."
