@odinsmana: fair enough on the exact differences there. I've heard it said by UK natives and maybe they had the accent that leads more to the AIR pronunciation. At least no one was saying Laura like the question. That was the important part.
To my knowledge, Abby was right about Lara. The rest of the guys were doing some weird combo between Laura and saying it quite right that they invented right there. It was funny but weird to listen to.
For anyone interested in this, the game' "story" only takes 3-4 hours to complete at most, the core of the game revolves around improving your deck and fighting against other players. The "story" is mainly a device to teach you the basics of the game and level up your character a bit, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone that is not interested in the 1v1 pvp fights. Having said that, I'm loving everything about it so far and it's definitely in my top 10 for this year!
Thanks for the info. That makes me not that interested really, although I think it looks awesome. I'm very into it as a PvE game.
XCOM 2 is amazing and the game never had remotely the performance issues talked about.
Well, your experience is non issue because developers have said that there are issues and they will not be fixed in the base game.
I haven't had issues, and people I talk to don't have the Battlefield 4 esque issues as Jeff presents it. He talks about XCOM 2 like it was BF 4 or worse and it's simply not. That's why I wrote my post.
