I liked Oblivion just fine, but I will insist that the game was broken.
Morrowind was broken too, but the voice acting was better(mostly because there might as well have not been any, yes) and the visual style just popped more. Look at things like the Ordinator Armour or the Dwarven Ruins.

That being said, SKREEEEE!

Cool beans. Most of the problems sound like they should be ironed out by release or in the first round of patching, and I've already gotten a distinct impression that Eidos Montreal actually gives a shit about the community's response to this game.

Similarly to the couple of bosses in the original Deus Ex (unless you used exploits)

Well, the killwords still killed the bosses, but it was a damn sight less violent than shooting/stabbing/powerstabbing/incinerating/exploding them.

@dandead:
Well shit. I put a few clips into it with the silenced sniper before I was backed into a corner and killed by Feds.
Admittedly, the only contact I've had with one is during a side mission in New Eden.

...they really don't like people killing their Deus Ex Machinae. Improved main weapon damage, greater health, and less xp and brozoufs? Really, guys?

I wonder if they implemented that stealth fix.
And the hacking death thing.
And the framerate improvement.
And the crashes.
And that lovely bug I got yesterday where I was unable to change my loadout.

Akavir sounds nice in theory, but it might end up alienating people who are used to Morrowind and Oblivion's races. Someone suggested an Akaviri invasion. That would actually work great.
Also another vote for Elsweyr from me.

Elves look too buff.  Guess they only have one male body model?

I'm waiting till we see the Altmer. The Dunmer and Bosmer are both reasonably martial and warlike, so it makes sense that they'd be in better shape.
And I'm still waiting for them to pull some lore out of their ass and make the steampunk dwarves a playable race.

You can craft most of the items anyway, like some people said.
In any case, the older promo items should go for cheaper on trade servers. You should be able to get them for a decent amount of metal. Especially if it's one of the less popular ones like the PvZ items.
