Aw @vinny I wish you read my message I sent you last week regarding my comments. Turns out watching a video at 5 am with no sleep and being stubborn about it is not a good use of my time on a website I love.
@jupiter: I'm not confused and I don't need to apologize for getting upset about stubborn masculine behavior getting in the way of enjoying a video game or a livestream. "There's nothing about the fact that he's white or 38 years old that's relevant to how they played the game." is a completely false statement. That's the whole point of my comment.
This isn't the first time something like this has happened. GB has been around a while and I've seen masculine shit get in the way of their content many times. I've lost my patience and I'm allowed to articulate that.
@ssully: I don't think posting a comment on a website I've spent hundreds of hours on is simply "making a mountain out of a mole hill" Everyone here is passionate about games and livestreams. There's a bit more going on. I'm allowed to be frustrated by a stream. Read my other comments if you don't understand why.
@vinny: Vinny, I think if you actually believe being called an old white man is offensive, then there's a mountain of realizations you gotta make about privilege in America. I genuinely love your content but like I said, watching stubborn dudes trying something over and over again is a massive test of patience and I really wanted to enjoy this stream. I was frustrated so I posted a comment. Read my other one if you're confused.
@curiosus: That's fair but Vinny tried the same thing like 5 times in a row, something something sisyphus and his boulder. The main issue is Vinny dying over and over again and not trying to solve the issue in any other way. I grow tired of old white men being stubborn, sorry.
I've enjoyed watching this series but this was legitimately one of the craziest things I've ever watched on this website. This is a monolith example of why communication and admitting you need help is so important. Also I guess they're super incapable of learning new information? Use/make landmarks? Idk but this was absolutely a test of patience. Holy shit.
Wow I hope Jan can actually concentrate next time. He basically went nowhere because Vinny was distracting him every 10 seconds. This was kind of unwatchable.
Holy moly The Longing is such an inspired, wild choice to close out a great stream. Literally about passing time, while Vinny's in a basement, passing time until the next stream, during the apocalypse. Fuck.
Fyi constructive criticism can't apply to the people of Giant Bomb. None of us actually know them on a personal level, and they're not in some horrible situation where they need to change themselves. Everyone is so fucking dramatic. I get it, the way we connect to personality content can dictate how we feel about the people on a minuscule level but it doesn't actually matter. Decent people don't lose their shit at family members/friends who annoy them. You talk it out, honestly. If you don't like someone on Giant Bomb, learn to live with it or move on to another site.
