Yea the inside of those things is nuts. Just borrow one and buy a Blu-ray player or get a Blu-ray drive if you have a PC hooked up to your TV. No need to spend ~$300 for just a few games.
The thought of a Brothers In Arms set in the XCOM universes has my interest. Don't just crap it out to beat the next console cycle and put it on my PC and you have my money.
I had the same thing happen to me. A few years ago I was just looking at a color blind test on the computer. About 75% of the pictures I could see no problem but a few I could see but I had to actually trace out by hand. I didn't think anything of it until someone walked up behind me and just blurted out the answer behind me. Obviously I have some very slight colorblind but I never notice it unless I look at a test and a few slow me down.
As soon as I realized I was just doing things with my family and the game was trying to get me close to them I started to get a bad feeling about it. I knew they were just building me up to tear me down and I was right. Such an amazing ending. It felt so good to light that guy up and watch him flop into the water.
I got my hands on it about a year ago and try playing it every now and then. I can only get through that first level before I turn it off. Knowing me I would have played the hell out of it back when.
