Everyone knows they will release HL2 EP4 first, then release 3 as a prequel to the events in four that explain everything which sets them up to announce Half Life 3D. "
If this was real this would be the funniest thing they could do with the franchise possible. Even better would be to remake Half Life 2 and Episodes 1 and 2 all over again before working on Episode 3, just to fuck with people. "
They love money too much to ever do this. Although the prequel idea would be hilarious.
The idea that we have to pit the conferences against each other gets more ridiculous each year.

Those are pretty reasonable reasons to say Microsoft did an okay job. A lot of Nintendo's style of conference here.
It is certainly better that they just got DICE to do it. It's a bonus to the single-player but it just so happens to be super well made however derivative it is. I feel like it was a reasonable obligation they made if they were to make a modern war game.
Yeah that gameplay is derivative but I'm over it. As long as the single-player is good of course. I feel like it's the opposite of BC2. The multiplayer is the competent backseat to the single-player where BC2 was inverted.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit - Burnout-y racing with Need for Speed's best premise, This should be good. Dead Space 2 - This looks an improvement to an already great game. Good stuff Medal of Honor - Multiplayer looks meh because it's been done twice in the last year or so (MW2 and BC2) but whatever, the single-player is the reason to play that game. Crysis 2 - LOOKS really purty and the action blows up real nice. I see a mediocre setting (New York, again?) and I hope a better gameplay hook than just the same suit stuff. Sims 3 - Uh wha? Why was this a thing? Bulletstorm - YES! Horribly cheesy dialogue with over-the-top gameshow-esque kill rewards. I LOVE IT. The Old Republic - Awesome trailer, tells me NOTHING about the game.

No. If you see a bad trailer to a sequel of a bad film, you don't give it the benefit of the doubt so why should I with games? "
Because you're making the big leap that Dead Space was a bad game which, although the high praise isn't an absolute judgment, has been widely accepted as a good game. So putting it out there that the sequel looks bad implies the original was as well and that conflicts with people's opinions that I add are pretty reasonable in this case.
