Sandman starts off as horror, and very effective horror at that, but it evolves into something else entirely. It kinda becomes a more philosophical thing about humanity and deriving meaning in life from connections with others. It might not be exactly what you’re looking for, but it’s excellent.

I've never gotten a standing O before, in real life or on the internet. Thanks for that! I'm a little obsessed with Rick and Morty: I got the blu ray the day it came out, and that night, I had to work on a commission. So I watched the entire season and then rewatched the first two episodes with commentary while I was drawing. I'm foaming at the mouth for the second season.

@player1: Thanks! I've got some other stuff around the internet, but these two are my only Giant Bomb-inspired works. I've been doing some band merch and poster stuff here and there in my free time.

@gnatsol: I'm always conflicted about AS stuff. Superjail's animation is beautifuly disgusting, but it's not particularly funny. I used to love Home Movies because the writing is brilliant, but it's pretty ugly. I think Rick and Morty is the only AS show that I absolutely love both the writing and the animation.

I also drew this a while back. It's a joke Vinny made in the OllieOllie Quick Look.
