Gutted.

Vinny, Brad and Alex are amazing lads and I've enjoyed listening to them for years. Giantbomb has been such a positive rock that it's hard to imagine it without these three.

I wish them all the best in the future and hope they're back on more Bombcasts down the line! <3

If anyone can help me I'm trying to find the name of a fighter on the PC from the mid 90's (I assume).

From what I can remember you played as massive robots, it was polygonal and as a loading screen you would see the robots surrounded by scaffolding with tiny people repairing them etc... I know it's not much to go on but I would love to know the game of this old game, thanks!

I've been using the app for a long time and it's probably one of the best apps on my phone. I don't know if this has been addressed or asked before (as I don't spend much or any time on the forums here) but one issue is how the app works with Chromecast's.

Streaming from the website/chrome browser on my PC is fine in all video qualities but streaming from the app causes video and audio stutter, the higher the quality you set the video too the more frequent this happens, oddly though if you lower the quality the frequency of the stutters goes way down, but the quality stays at what looks like 'HD'. I have the app set to 'mobile' and the TV shows a pretty smooth HD picture.

I'm not sure why or whats causing this but just wanted to let you know!

In response to the OP I have to strongly disagree.

I played the original game but found it way too difficult and stopped playing maybe 2/3 of the way through just out of frustration.

I finished Hotline Miami 2 last night and it was one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a while. It's a hard game for sure, but with the improved lock on mechanics you really have so much more control over how you manage the map and deal with enemies.

Managing the chaos was something I couldn't do too well in the first game and the tools didn't seem that great, and while this game has issues (enemies getting stuck on doors glitching etc) your ability to control who does what seems greatly increased.

I actually really liked the fact the maps were more open and larger, the game is hard, really hard by todays standard, but I still think that's fine and good and not a problem with it being more open.

@hero_swe: That was also the only boss fight I died on when I replayed it last week. I played it through on a Vita and didn't really have an issue with it at all. Actually the first time because lunge is mapped to square, I tried to only use that attack so I didn't have to use the terrible Vita sticks but it did so little damage I just couldn't kill him faster than he could kill me.

But second time I just used the sticks and found it SUPER easy... once you learn his attack pattern it's not really that difficult at all... tbh I found the Fatman boss fight the most stressful and the Vamp fight the least stressful (lol grenade launcher)...

His pattern wasn't the problem. It was the fact that for some reason everytime Raiden swung his sword he would start spinning in some direction, so if you tried to do a basic 3 hit combo. You'd be facing 90 degrees away from the direction either side of the way you started. Always ended up facing away from solidus which meant I only either got two hits in on him or he parried two and then just hit me while I was stuck in animation on the third swing.

I also beat him eventually, only took about 3 more tries just doing single swings and patience. What baffles me still is that I used the sword before that point and he never did it there, it must be some corrolation between the "dynamic" camera.

I think it was maybe the way you where using the stick? If you did a circle motion with the stick he would spin around, so maybe it was that? Using the Vita I simply mashed at the right stick when ever I got a chance and second time I breezed through it np and never had him spin round, though that could just be because the Vita's sticks are garbage.

But from a narrative point of view I do really like the move to fight the end boss with a sword.
