You know, a lot of people are looking at the complaints as being dumb because it's just a game. I totally get it. People are whining. Think of it less as needless complaining and more like feedback for the series because I think the series would be better and more entertaining if their concerns were addressed.
The problem with "just changing the name back for Dave Lang," results in a back and forth fight, and I personally don't want to watch everyone engage in Dan's game because it's boring. Watching someone troll their own friends every week and then them be frustrated is not a show I want to watch.
The series is interesting when it's 3 people vs. a game, not 2 people vs. a game and a troll. It's my opinion, and maybe I just need to lighten up, but honestly I look forward to this series every Monday and today's episode wasn't fun. I want this to get back on track
I find that your approach to games, your perspective on everything, to be refreshing and amusing. I love the content you create.
With PUBG, Mario Sunshine, and more recently this feature which I am really excited about, you've played up some of the traits that make you fun to watch. Unfortunately you've approached a level of self-parody that can be a bit grating. It has been speculated that you're playing a character/heel, and I get that can be fun.
Someone once said that comedy should be extracted, not inserted. I think that you need to remember that and let the format of these shows create the entertainment. I think latching on to your quirks and brandishing them as your identity are going to turn people away, and I would that to see that happen. Going against the grain too much can sabotage what makes these streams enjoyable, so please show some restraint.
Regardless, I look forward to the next episode, and take my suggestion to heart.
