Kinda surprising in the least that if Jeff and Jason are kinda into anime fighters that aren't as nuts as most of them, that they didn't do a QL for Under Night In-Birth when that came out. That game's like the easiest anime fighter, plays more like SF.

@austin_walker Will this include members of the GB community? I've read some really excellent blogs by different members of the community over the years and would love to see them contribute something on the front page!

As a kid I played a lot of Pirates! Gold and loved it, and after we got a new computer and I could play the remake from 2004 I was completely blown away. I used to really love all kinds of games in the "high seas open world genre," in which I would count Pirates!, Uncharted Waters (UW2 for MS-DOS is still probably my favourite game of all time), the Patrician series (I liked 3 a lot), Tortuga, Port Royale, and maybe you can count Star Control 2 (though that one's in space).

@moregrammarplz: I feel like that criticism is really more valid leveled against Warcraft 1-3 and the original Starcraft: Brood War. They really evolved in how they designed missions and the way you're getting experience and upgrading units between missions.

That said, I'm really in it for the multiplayer personally. It's this fast-paced, multitasking intensive chess game that has an amazingly high skill cap.

Holy crap, I was very certain this would not be a thing, but looks like I was fortunately wrong :D

Edit: @brad you know that only on default hotkey setups the different buildings are different between races, I play on the Grid setting and it's the same between races. Also you can customise any hotkey.

As someone who mostly didn't end up playing RB/GH the last time around, the idea of getting this for modern consoles is intriguing, though the cost of entry is a bit high for me. I'm glad this exists though.

Grats Vinny! I really love CV3 but man is it a goddamn hard game. While 4 doesn't hold quite the same place in my heart as 3, I'm really, really looking forward to VinnyVania of Super Castlevania IV.
