No. I don't like the idea of a substance that alters my psychological state.

Wow so you never eat anything? Ever? But that too would alter your psychological state....basically what you said makes no sense.

Also of course I drink, and if you don't...well...that's pretty sad, live a little.

How deep shall we go into a discussion of human psychology? The stomach contracts, sends signals to the brain, which alerts me of hunger. So, you're right, food alters my psychological state. I eat, and eliminate this psychological urge. Food is also necessary to go on living, alcohol is not. What I don't like about alcohol is that it dulls motor skills, cripples judgement, is harmful to memory, increases aggressiveness, and reduces self-awareness. In a nutshell, it takes the reins from me, makes me unable to have total control over my own self. I do not want this. Add what said. Liver damage, brain damage, vomiting, hangovers. Sounds pleasant.

So, if you drink? That's pretty sad... live a little, without the assistance of substances.

EDIT: I want to add now that I won't judge anyone for drinking. Most of my friends drink, and it doesn't stop me from having close relationships with them. I simply will never be joining them in drinking alcohol.

its good to have a friend like you as you can always be the 'driver'

No, I see it as a sign of weakness. Same with any drug or mind altering substance. Unless it is taken to correct a biological impairment, then I accept.

why do you see it as a sign of weakness. do you think less of people that have a glass of wine or can of beer. are you better than them.

yeah i drink from time to time.

a good drink with friends is a great way to end a busy stressful week and i enjoy it. i don't do it to excess. but i don't see anything wrong with it at all.

I never played Mass Effect 2, because I kept telling myself I was going to go back and replay the first one to see the DLC I'd bought only after all my saves were beyond the point of no return. I felt bad about it for the better part of two years, but seeing as how Mass Effect 3 is apparently a massive disappointment, perhaps it's for the best.

its just the last 10 mins of ME3 that is disappointing (acording to some anyway). the other 30 odd hours are fantastic and missing out on those because of the last 10 mins is stupid.
