I dont want to be mean, but i had hoped the (justified) onslaught of Bens Lens (tm) criticism would have Ben be more mindful about camera control.
It appears my hopes where shattered and i have to stop watching at 05:02 because of nausea.
@benpack you might not see what the fuss is about because you control the camera. If you don't have any control over it and so don't know what to expect, watching fast and wild camera movements can be quite literally sickening.
I feel like @jeff ,intentionally or not completely misinterprets why people are against difficulty options in the souls/from soft games. Are there people out there that dont want it because they can brag they are tough shit? I dont doubt it.
But acting like thats the main argument is just flat out wrong. It has to do with people appreciating the design philosophy and (at least in the soul games) how the feeling of overcoming seemingly impossible odds with no way out or around it is core and crucial to the story, philosophy and themes in these games. Its part of the artwork .
Consuming the dragon stone/tear thing is just dumb. Both Emma and the text describing the item in your inventory 100% straight up says how to use it.
@unastrike to the left of that bridge is a graple branch on both sides of the water. So you can get behind them and stealthkill them. Almost every encounter in the game can be "cheesed"/played cleverly by using stealth to pick of guys and even free deathblows to the bosses.
That Churchill movie was good! Twitter just liked to complain about it because he won the oscar over a black actor that year. And apparently he said some weird hollywood actor stuff. But that doesn't diminish his Churchill.
@cheburashka: oh i dont know, Dan still seems completely baffled by basic recycling. I feel like your looking down on the typical "layman" with that comparison.
Also there seems to have been a problem. Some of the meaningless preshow talk got into the podcast. The first 9 min need to be cut and the podcast re-uploaded. Mistakes are human, it happens.
