There's not a ton of different environmental heat actions, the one for car doors only works with cabs I believe. Bike railings are another that tends to have a few associated with them. If you want more variety, buy some weapons, equip them, and pull them out by pressing down on the D-pad while in battle. As mentioned last time you can see a list of heat actions by opening you abilities grid and pressing triangle.

And you shouldn't be sitting on all that cash, you're just asking for Mr. Shakedown to come take it from you. Go upgrade your 2 mill Rush and Beast abilities. As mentioned earlier, you need to buy the abilities next to the M spheres in order to learn new moves from masters.

If you want more stamina for sprinting, maybe see if you can find your way to the shrine.

Also buy a mandarin orange and keep it in your inventory. Something fun might happen.

They are actually all almost identical apart from plot and the amount of side stuff they put in them. If the more stylized cutscenes are a make or break thing for someone then I dunno what to say, cause the core gameplay hasn't really changed in a while - it's actually a criticism I have about the series.

Yes and no. Yakuza is a very iterative series with a lot of repeated content, but I would say this one is actually a fair bit of a step up in terms of polish compared to the previous games. Not just the in-engine cut scenes, but the interface and over all presentation has had a notable revamp for the first time since the original really. I think it works quite well, and actually made me really excited to play this along with GBeast even though I'm just coming off 5 (and still need to go back and complete the damn coliseum fights).

@camgearz: They get a bit farther than that, but I wouldn't say it's anything of huge importance. Most of the time after Tachibana is spent messing around with side activities.

Heat Actions are contextual, some are very specific (like grab enemy from behind while near a knee high railing) and tricky to pull off. If you want a list of the ones you have access to go to the upgrade screen for the style you're using and press Triangle for Details. This will bring up a list of your all your moves. When fighting bosses there's generally a diminishing return damage-wise from using the same one over and over again, so you definitively want to try to vary it up.

Oh, and most Heat Actions aren't available when you're doing a combo. You have to wait a second and be in a neutral stance before the heat icon in the upper right shows up.

Hangover cures instantly reduce your characters "drunkenness" level. Good for if you want to drink more (sampling everything in a restaurant menu gives you completion points to spend at the shrines). Also being drunk helps build HEAT faster, can unlock certain moves, but also makes enemies more eager to pick a fight with you on the street.

Just FYI, food and drink is health, and if it tells you you can't eat more it means you are at full health. Anyway it might be smart to stock up on a few healing items before you do the next bit. Some alcohol wouldn't hurt either, as it boosts heat gain.

@simkas: They've ben playing PSVR titles for several days now. If you follow them on PSN you can see when they're playing new games in the What's New section on PS4.

Jesus, they're still recycling the same maps that were in the Beta for "new" paid content? I never played the retail version, yet I still recognize the vast majority of this and thought it had gotten old even then with all the repetitive patrol missions.

@lentfilms: Cold Steel was on sale this week, so I bought it. Now I actually have to find time to play it.

@lentfilms: I'd really like to try the Trails games, though I've been intimidated by their length and size.

(Else, I've updated the post to add a line about 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors likely coming to the Vita.)
