  • Bethesda have again created a world that feels alive in every direction including up and down, a world you take on in anyway you see fit, quite an achievement in any game but when you consider the size and detail of Skyrim it blows your mind. It feels a little bit stock Nordic fantasy and less unique world like Morrowind or Fallout but when it's this good it's hard to complain.

  • Portal 2 delivered the new layer of depth to the puzzles we all expected but what was unexpected for me was that it was also an amazing piece of story telling, its characters and the Aperture company beautifully realised.

  • I've never really been able to articulate what made the first Deus Ex so good or what was missing from the second one that made it feel so underwhelming but the developers of Human Revolution must have the secret formula hidden away somewhere because for me they pulled off what most said couldn't be done and make a game that didn't feel dated and was worthy of standing next to the original.

  • Looks, sounds and plays like a dream. Beautifully crafted in every way.

  • I love that despite the money involved when making games these days there are still companies willing to make the games they want to make regardless of weither it or not it will be hated by some. Dark Souls is one such game and I love it.

  • The first fighting game in years I've really enjoyed, most of which is down to the story mode which is a huge evolution for the fighting game genre.

  • A great adventure with some truly amazing moments, although the gunfights were sometimes terrible and the Arkham inspired fist fights were a bit clunky, stopping it being an all time classic like its predecessor.
