Games That I'm "Excited" For

I'm generally not one to get excited about upcoming releases, in 2014 I was only really hyped up for a total of 2 games (The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and Lisa) but looking at what the future holds for the fine medium of videogaming , there certainly are some... interesting projects on their way out. Here's a list of some that I'm "excited" to "play" in the "future".

For the sake of my sanity, I'm only including games that will be available on platforms I actually own, so no console stuff here!

But first here are some without wiki pages, meaning I can't actually put on this list!

& (Ampersand) (Working Title?) - Follow up to Only If, a game I thought was pretty not good but only have fond memories towards. I have no idea if & will be related to Only If but I'm gonna play it anyway!

Ittle Dew 2 - Sequel to Ittle Dew, I've seen some of the devblogs and this game looks so different from the first one. It's in 3D and it's got a lot more combat to go along with those puzzles. Also, it's a dungeon crawler??

  • I feel like I'm in the very small camp of people who thought that Remember Me was an excellent game on all fronts, despite it's flaws. I went ahead and preordered this game despite it having almost nothing in common with Remember Me besides being developed by the same team. The world will probably never see a direct sequel to Remember Me but I'll gladly support the devs that made one of my favorite games of all time.

  • I'm not sure if Perfect Stride will ever see a release, commercial or otherwise. Humans simply aren't ready for... whatever it is. Not a week goes by without me thinking "Man, Perfect Stride looks real cool!" these thoughts are almost immediately followed by disappointment as I realize I'll probably never play it in my lifetime. It does however, have the world's best unofficial soundtrack to ever not-exist thing going for it though.

  • This is another one of those games where I'm unsure if it's actually real or just another daytime nightmare. Regardless MoaBD looks like, and I can only assume plays like, what D/P/I's music sounds like. It's games like these that make me excited to live in the times that I do. Anything is possible and I truly believe it because of this.

  • SUPER. HOT. SUPER. HOT. SUPER. HOT. SUPER. HOT.

  • I own and have played the original La-Mulana and the HD remake and while I really enjoy the concept of it I'm not sure if I enjoy playing it. The sequel could be something amazing or more of the same. Either way I'll be glad it exists for those who do enjoy this sort of thing. Last I heard, this game was in that one phase that all Kickstarter games go into where the devs throw the money raised into the ever-burning pits of the gaming gods as sacrifice. Hopefully it comes out later this year or somethin'.

  • I've really enjoyed every game that Tribute has put out despite all of them being focused on local multiplayer (something I literally cannot accomplish). I highly doubt this'll be anything radically different from their past stuff but here's hoping!

  • E3 HYPE LESSGO

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAGH

  • I didn't even play 2, but I'm pretty psyched for this one.
