Saying the word retard doesn't imply a direct attack on a group of people like the word nigger does as nigger is a word created and used with malicious intent toward black people. Retard on the other hand means to slow down or delay and is used to describe people with mental or physical disabilities because the are slower doing actions that play on their retardation. I understand it of people with mental disabilities don't like to be called retarded because it implies them as being stupid but the word can as is used to describe things as stupid but doesn't reference disabled people as these articles imply.

Do a little research on the subject. Socialized is financially ruinous and does far more in the way of denying medical attention to those who need it the most. England cancels tens of thousands of vital surgeries per year. In Canada the problem has gotten so bad that it can take up to a year to get an MRI. How about a 50 percent base income tax rate like England is discussing? All to support something that is slowly bankrupting their nation. Political hostilities aside this is exactly my point. Liberals have a tendency to emotionally respond to certain ideas far more than intellectually. "

  Earlier today I went down to my local EB Games (GameStop with a different name) and purchased the PC version of Mass Effect 2 because I heard on the street that game was good. The clerk asked me the standard questions made to nickel and dime fools such, as do you want  to insure  your game disc? I answer no politely while laughing in my head (LIMH?). He asks if I would like the collectors edition and gives me the sales pitch saying it comes with a metal case and art book as well as in game weapons and amour and a behind the scenes DVD. I reject his offer and he wasn't overly pushy about it anyhow. So he rings up the game and as I'm walking away he says you know what I'm going to give you a set of armor anyway. That's right he went ahead and Deus EX Machina-ed my Mass Effect 2. Mind you he then said that it was a GameStop/EB Games pre-order bonus and the store no longer had any on wait. I thought it was pretty awesome and I am currently installing the game. Has anything awesome come out of buying at GameStop for any of the GB community of do I stand alone in my newfound cheaply bought love for it suddenly?  Sorry this post isn't blogish at all and I hope you forgive my blunder:(
I don't know if you know this but MW2 is a sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in which the Russian Army and individual Russians play a major part, also America vs. Russia has a lot of history with the cold war and such.
Well, your country has changed and girls dress like sluts for a reason. Women need to be loved (or have the illusion of it) and to do so need to attract someone to do so. So the way they dress is a reflection of what they see as attractive. J-Lo dresses in a way that attracts successful, dominant men. Therefore to attract successful, dominant men dress like J-Lo and so on and so forth. The obsession over the twilight series is a product of the idea of eternal love (Just like The Iliad had) and the idea that it could happen to common folk. The way the Vampires are presented, handsomest and sexiest creatures with supernatural powers greater then that of average man leads to women seeing them as ideal mates that could protect and make successful spawn. To say it's wrong to obsess over love is insane as we all do, its why we brush our teeth, work and wear clothes. The Women of the generation have adapted to be attractive and can be changed if successful, dominant men date and marry women that don't do the things that you hate. This isn't a media thing its a humanity thing, the values of the media are reflective of the values of the people in its demographic (who make them money).
