You're right to think that 6500 trees is nothing btw, that's like 3 days of work for an average planter - and doesn't take into account how many of those trees will actually be viable.
Completely agree with Jan about BDSP difficulty, I have never played competitive pokemon and do not grind at all and the game is completely without challenge or tension. Exp share completely ruined the game for me. I played Pokemon Yellow and Red as an 8 year old, the challenge was part of the fun then - removing it completely has made Pokemon substantially worse as a series.
@byron_orpheus: I totally agree with your sentiment. I can't know their intent obviously, but I think it's possible by "legitimate" in this case they mean sex workers who have real skin in the game and are pushed into more dangerous work when a platform like this gets jeopardized (as opposed to celebrities who came to OF to sell bikini pictures to supplement their income after sex workers built the platform). I have sex worker friends who bemoan that phenomenon regularly.
My theory about Old becoming a meme is that it was blasting advertising every single commercial during the NBA Playoffs. Literally every commercial break you got 30 seconds of the Old trailer. It wormed its way into our brains. NBA fans are constantly online when watching games and tweeting alongside it, so we were primed to both produce adnd receive memes about it.
