Not that the scores really matter, but this really read like a 2 star review to me. Didn't expect much from this game, and in an era of open world juggernauts it doesn't sound like this one does much of anything to stand out.
Now that Grantland is shuttered, I'm worried that people will forget everything that Tom Bissell wrote on there. That has been the most enlightening, interesting, and challenging writing on games that I've been regularly exposed to.
As for a game @austin_walker, this is a little different because it only just came out, but are you thinking of playing Age of Decadence? It is a very unique RPG set in a kind of post-apocolyptic Roman Empire, and there are multiple ways to play through without any combat at all (the combat itself is very tactical and hard). Very low fantasy, very awesome.
Can you make it so your character isn't wearing the Vault suit under everything? I've always hated the look and it's been my first move in every game to find a different outfit.
Weird, I know, but I need my character to be visually appealing.
I appreciate how direct she was with the question about "polly", and how open she is to sharing her experiences as a trans woman, because I feel like the audience of Giant Bomb (Which I would guess skews young and male) needs exposure to these ideas more than most people. If you're not comfortable dating a trans person (and not all trans or non-binary people physically transition, this is not the be all end all of gender legitimacy) then don't date them thinking you're doing them some kind of favour when secretly you don't view their gender identity as legitimate.
