Soo.. I don't understand what's so wrong about what Interplay is doing. I guess they did violate the contract, but the contract says they can't sell the first three games anymore? That's mean.

No. She's not ugly, but I certainly don't find her attractive - at least (especially?) celebrity attractive. I think the only reason anyone does is because she's associated herself with the desperate loser geek culture and proceeded to slut herself up. Not unlike Jessica Chobot or Morgan Webb(who at least held out for quite a while before posing for risque photographs).

Otherwise she'd just be an average woman on the street and while yes, good looking, doesn't really deserve praise for the fact.

Also, you watch G4.

Contains Spoilers:

I just got back about a couple of hours ago from seeing it(so yeah, this is my first internet posting about it). I'm a TNG fan, I enjoy TOS, and hate everything else. I actually went into it expecting to hate it(and I did throughout the beginning), but came out pretty damn satisfied. The 'alternate universe' ploy felt kind of cheesy, and was really the only thing I discussed afterwards - but agreed with my friends that it had to be done if they were going to use these characters.

But in the video you shrugged off Tony's complaint about the lens flare. No way man - it bothered me too. After the movie was over I guess it didn't really stick(as I said, we only discussed the alternate reality) but after Tony mentioned it I remembered how annoying it was because it's as if they were trying to convey the idea that someone was sitting in the bridge holding a video camera or something and they just seemed out of place and not constructive to the movie at all. And no, I didn't read anything about the lens flare prior to the movie. In fact, I was pretty distant from the production - I saw some images every once in a while and I think the only trailer I saw was the original teaser.

In any other discussions I have about the movie, I'll doubtfully bring up the lense flare as a complaint. They bothered me at the times that I saw them on screen, but even now after remembering them, it still doesn't hit me that hard to want to use it as a complaint of the whole movie - maybe when I watch it a second time(on DVD) I'll feel stronger about it.

So uhh.. there's my thoughts.

You pay for City of Heroes because.. well, rather, City of Heroes charges you because they need to. They run how many dedicated servers each hosting thousands of players at a time, they use up a shitload of bandwith, and they have a team constantly working on the game. You get large content packs, expansions, and patches from them.

For most multiplayer on live, the players themselves host the games - using no resources of MS. What exactly are you paying for, then? Not extra game content, as it's the devs/publishers who produced that. Exclusive DLC then? Yeah, what a great thing to pay for. I certainly want to pay $50 a year just so I can talk down to PS3 owners. Sony does it for free, MS doesn't. I think it's a fair reason to argue PS3 over Xbox.

Comparing an MMO to xbox live, I think is a bit.. impractical?

Yeah, it fully uses Steamworks - for drm, server browsing, and achievements. Just like a retail bought Valve game, for example.

Your submissions show you added a release on the releases page, but you have to add the Original US Release date to the General Information box on the main wiki page.
