I have an overclocked 6850 which is very close to your 460 in performance. I run the beta with all the settings on "high" very smoothly. its a well optimized game :) I'm running the amd beta drivers.

- Voice acting is shit. Suit voice is out of place as well. The suit voice should only be saying things that are modular, e.g. able to be formed from a combination of basic words using AI. Not spouting full on paragraphs of detailed instructions.

I actually quite liked the game besides the convoluted story and terribad voice acting. It is more linear than crysis 1 ina  way but the level design is good in that most of the areas you are fighting in open up and there's plenty of different options and places to flank. Crysis 1 started out awesome and sandboxy but got super linear near the end. Crysis 2 is more consistant and I found there was a good variety in the gameplay.

That video card is actually pretty poor too. An upgraded video card would be the biggest help with this game. A GTX 460 or a 6850 should run it on extreme at around 30-40 fps. My overclocked 6850 runs it on extreme with 30-60 fps. The game seems more gpu heavy than cpu heavy. It uses like 60% of my phenom II 810 and 100% gpu power at all times.

His cpu is definitely above minimum requirements (he has a 2.6ghz core 2 duo, min is 2ghz) and the min video card is an 8800gt/hd3850. His vid card barely cuts it, the 3850 is faster than a  4650. Your current specs might be able to handle it at the lowest settings. Not sure how that compares to the consoles iq-wise. A GTX 260 is significantly faster than your card. The ati equivalent of a GTX 260 is a 4870.

Agreed, do not bother installing this. This is a VERY rough build. I can 't believe some people think this is in anyway indicative of the final game.

This rough build does not have advanced graphics settings, dx11, audio is totally glitched, it bluescreened my pc twice and hard rebooted it once, and froze rather constantly. Better to just watch videos of the leak and wait for the final.

Yeah apparently there is some confusion right now. From what I see the current 1.51 client patch is going to be the final but there is still an issue with the server patch where it doesn't actually install, but if you reinstall the whole server with 1.51 it works so thats whats causing the delay with some servers not being updated.

EDIT: That patch didn't end up being the final, DICE has delayed it again until Tuesday where the final client patch will be officially announced. it will be 2gb.
