@melonpan: @entireties: Don't be reductive. You can't generalize about what is just damn hashtag with a million different opinions behind it. There's good and bad behavior on both sides, and in the middle. Also I think the reason GB doesn't mention GG is to do with not wanting to insight endless back and forth arguments that accomplish nothing. Worse still, actively trying to insinuate that people are affiliated with a particular side or that said side is all good or all bad. It's tiresome, just engage people on their points instead of resorting to name calling or "hashtag associating".
@slaps2: I agree, games like Gears of War could do well to take themselves less seriously (the same goes for a lot of mainstream media) however Remedy have always seemed like more of a AA developer to me.
The remastered graphics look odd because they haven't added more detail where there would have otherwise been pixels which left some elements up to interpretation and the imagination (just look at the robber character they mention for example). Doesn't look terrible though, and the original pixel art holds up extremely well.
BTW the TV Show got SO much better after season 3, in part due to the new show-runner, Scott Gimple. In fact the reason the quality dipped in the first place is kind of AMC's fault. They had a dispute with original show-runner Frank Darabont leading to his firing, a bunch of the actors who were there because of him wanted to leave, some of the writers left, the budget was slashed and the number of episodes increased hugely leading to repetitive story arcs and lack of locations (Season 2's farm and season 3's prison).
