People who complain about Epic store exclusivity need to get some real problems.
I have only played one game (Outer Wilds) from this list, but I really enjoyed listening to each track as I read your thoughts on the games. That Slumbering Weald song is an incredible bop. And Titania's Theme from FFXIV reminds me soooooo much of Gutevolk
Outer Wilds is among the most fascinating and mind-bogglingly effective games I've ever played. How you managed to build a clockwork solar system that conveys a brilliant sci-fi story in a non-linear fashion that is told differently for every player...I will simply never fully comprehend.
Thanks for sharing your top games with us as well, I really wanna play Anodyne 2!
I had never heard of Hardland, but it sounds fascinating. And now I really really wanna play Disco Elysium. Thanks for giving us your thoughts on some good and great games, Scott. I look forward to whatever comes from you and Bethany next!
Thank you for this great write-up, Imran. You sum up my feelings on Control perfectly. And you've reminded me that I really need to play Life Is Strange 2.
I enjoyed reading this list, Will! But mainly, I want to thank you for all the Twitch streaming over the past few years. I haven't played a single second of PUBG, but I love watching you and your friends goofing and murdering.
That Operation Eco-Nightmare intro was incredible. I hope this inspires Vinny to play it, either on stream or off.
And thanks for reminding me that Dusk exists, I wanna play it!
Also, what about Vegeta? He got robbed too!
Going strictly by the end of Z, Vegeta got his shit kicked in by Fat Buu, and Gohan riggedy-wrecked Super Buu before Gotenks got absorbed. Seems pretty clear to me!
Color me impressed by how quickly the duders put this one out.
The earliest game in the Giant Bomb wiki to have a wall jump is Rastan, which came out in 1987. Coincedentally, it was also a major source of inspiration for Brad's favorite game, Volgarr The Viking.
