I seriously can't fucking deal with this. Ryan was such an amazing person and such an integral part of Giant Bomb that I have no idea how anyone is going to recover from this.
Klei is one of my favorite developers right now. Mark of the Ninja and Don't Starve are by far the best games to come out for their respective genres in years.
Awesome, Patrick has started writing good articles again. He should become a cyborg more often. (I'm only half joking). It's amazing how many people still don't even have a general sense of how much money even relatively small games take to develop.
More 3DS news is good news for me, considering I just dropped over $200 on the Fire Emblem bundle. Hopefully all these great first party games are translating into actual sales for the system.
I usually fall firmly on the "Pro-Patrick" side of things, but I really wish he would get off this feminism tear. This is all stuff we've heard before, and I'd much rather have him be writing original articles than throwing together short statements from Leigh Alexander wannabes.
I'm all for women's rights, but getting upset at every single piece of marketing with misogynistic undertones, however minor, is ridiculous.
Auctioning off these IPs individually is never a good sign. I hope Square Enix or Take Two pick up some of the more prestigious ones, since they've both done good work for the most part over the last few years.
