How are you doing on your list? Any progress? I made a list of games that I wanted to purchase for the rest of 2016, and that helped me with playing and not feeling stressed out. So lists are fun!
@gablekevin:Good eye! I didn't catch that the controller was sold separately until I looked at the really small print at the end of the video. That's a bummer.
Also, the HDR functionality looks to be something available if both a game and a TV has it, so not sure about how many titles fit that description.
The parts of the conference I liked the best included the Prey and Dishonored 2 segments. From Prey, that guy with the red eye in the mirror. That gave me goosebumps. And the new Dishonored just looks fantastic and crazy. Since Dishonored 2 is scheduled to come out in November, what a crazy month for gamers that will be.
When watching the first level, I felt a bit uneasy when the background was scrolling really fast. When the scrolling slowed to a crawl, I felt much better watching. That's weird to me, as I don't remember having that feeling before. Maybe my eyes are going. Also, it's too bad that co-op isn't an option, so maybe they'll patch it in as a new game mode if there's enough demand from fans. The stuff on the side looks like what would be in a cockpit - radar, picture of the person talking to you, some data about weapons and energy. So all of that doesn't bother me. I do like the combat in the game as these types of games are definitely ones I've enjoyed in the past (1942, 1943, Xevious, etc...)
One of the first classes in college that I took was Introduction to Electrical Engineering, and one of the requirements was to write code in Visual Basic (this was back in 1998). I knew right then that programming languages and computer coding was not something that I could do. The people who make games actually work are some of my heroes in this world. I thank you all.
