Great gameplay, Great Music, Good Story an overall amazing package that features the best platforming of the year. Not to mention those devilishly hard C sides

I dunno how this game got this high, but overall the addition of player choice no matter how shallow does influence the head-cannon of the character. Having that control combined with the Mythical style of the story made Kassandra my favourite protagonist of the series. They also let lose with the gameplay generally empowering the player to make solid choices and engage in fun mechanics like Spartan Kicks, or self-activated chain-assassinations. I do miss some of the old tricks like the old beserk/confusion darts and the game suffers from too much content. In a game this packed the procedural missions feel a step too far.

Alright some people may complain but y'all should know I'm a massive Spider-Man fan a Spider-Fan if you will. Let me tell you as somoene with an unhealthy interest in the hero this game did a lot for me. From the costumes to the combat and to the new take on the classic Sinister 6 story. It all came together for me. Its a great first effort and I'm really excited to see where the next one goes.

The incredibly attention to detail and sheer amount of content crammed into this one package is insane. The spirits are a wonderful nod even if some of them like Paz makes you wanna side-eye em a little.

Bloodstained kicks off strong with a retro CV style game. The game does it quite well going through 8 distinct levels with multiple paths like some of the best classic CVs.
