I believe it's all about where you grew up because that's everything that has been influencing your opinions on the world at such a critical age. You'll base your opinions (for or against) about everything else by comparing what home was like.
@bereft: I also see it in a way where if you don't say anything then nobody will definitely listen (obviously). It's almost like voting where (although I don't 100% agree with the sentiment) if you don't vote you can't complain!
Whether or not they're masculine it's all just based on the cute badassery of a corgi is something you want or not. It doesn't make you any less masculine to have one. Just don't carry one in a purse unless that's your style.
It's funny that I've been playing games since I was very young and never have I really shared in discussions with people of similar interests. Sure I make a few posts here and there on various forums but most of the "discussions" I get is from listening to different podcasts. I never really tried to talk to people about games in forums mostly because I don't really know what to say. Other times I feel like what I want to say has already been beaten to death by others and usually not very constructively.
It was pointed out to me by a friend who doesn't play video games that sees me browsing forums and reading discussions and he thought it was weird that I don't ever add in my two cents. I engage in conversations on other things that interests me in life so why not repeat this behavior in the thing that I spend most of my time on.
This is amazing! The reload button is where it should be! Now I never hated the bumper reload for Halo 3, but when you play MW2 and BC2 all the time and any other FPSs, bumper reload gets annoying.
