@splodge: While the break between seasons 3 and 4 was super long I'm glad it gave them time to actually figure out a story. Season 1 was great but they clearly used all their best thought-out ideas during it. I mean, its been like 5 years since and they still have no idea what to do with Will as a character. Even Mike and Jonathan have spent a considerable amount of time totally adrift outside of being attached to better written female characters.
@csl316: You've clearly not plumbed the depths that Jeff is talking about. SEO-based pre-release videogame hype raps are universally execrable and very deserving of mockery. If the people that make them then do other stuff they put real work into, sure, good on them, but that Anthem rap about "technologyyyyyyyyy you find it on the ground!" (and anything else like it) was hilariously bad.
@mops: Because it's always things from non-white civilizations. I'm sure there are some nutcases that think the Parthenon or Windsor Castle or whatever were built by aliens but the bread and butter is always Egyptian pyramids, the Nazca Lines, Chichen Itza, and whatever. Mindless credulity and historical ignorance are connecting lines but so is passive (at best) disbelief of the capacity of non-whites.
@beggary: Pizza becomes whatever sells in the market its offered. I'm very familiar with what Koreans and Japanese do to it but I'm sure Brazilians and everyone else has their own spin on it too.
Being shocked/surprised/aghast at pineapple on pizza is so quaint. The internet/world is full of astoundingly bizarre pizzas that truly stretch the meaning of what a topping (or honestly even pizza) is. Try image searching "churrasco pizza dominos korea" and then telling me that pineapple crosses some sacred line of pizza toppings.
The app keeps telling me the video hasn't finished encoding on the site so I can't download it (at any resolution). For a lot of videos they only download in HD but this one has no options at all.
What if Master Chief took off his helmet and it was Nick Sobotka from Season 2 of The Wire? That would be weird as hell.
It's funny that I just watched Darkman for the first time the other day and then Jeff breaks out that 3D image thing that's exactly like what Darkman uses to make his disguises. Probably didn't take him 600 hours to render though.
