When you check the achievements for Assassins Creed 2, there is one thing you understand. For a 20 hour game, it's pretty hard to put down. Even the feather collection achievement is not rarely unlocked (purple achievement).

More than just a game, Uncharted 2 was the turning point in Sony's PS3 marketing strategy...
This game has almost unequaled graphics and a great combination of "3rd person cover shooter" and "3-d platforming".

Finally an RPG that made me care about my interactions with its supporting characters. Dragon Age was the only western RPG in recent memory which made me forget my hunger for more "Final Fantasy / Lost Odyssey" JRPGs.

Best Simulation Racing Game EVER... Just needs to add some "getting your driving permit challenges" for Forza 4.

Made the word "Metroidvania" make a huge comeback, and then get on our nerves. Linguistics aside, this game is probably the best " 2-D Shooter / Adventure " in the last 10 years.

Finally we get a katamari game that has enough content to justify its full retail price. Too bad real fans of this franchise will have played most of them before...

Rockstar really playing to the DS's strenghts. Despite horrible sales this game is probably the best adult (m-rated) game for that system. When you look at the best titles of other systems, this makes it a really important game for 2009.

in no ways a perfect game, but for a retro savy player, the feelings and memories triggered by its "story" and gameplay are undeniable.
