Review: .Hack//Infection 0

Today's date is February 17, 2014. Had this been 10 years ago, I would have a much different number for .Hack//Infection. I like history, I have a very high respect for where the world has been and where we have come from. As much as I hate to think that age impacts things negatively, some things just don't age well. This game is one of them. Not very easy on the eyes.Right from your first log in to "The World" the game starts to show its age. An early PS2 game does not hold up well graphically...

A New Tradition 0

I would like to start with the full disclosure that I have never played A Link to the Past. The nostalgia that this game supposedly brings was not appreciated by me unfortunately. This is a world that you will want to spend time in. From the fiery top of Hyrule's Death Mountain to the marshy mess of Lorule's swamp, the desire to explore is ingrained into this world. Despite it's medium size, the game world is brimming with puzzles to solve, treasures to find, and characters to interact with. The...

A Real Game 0

This game is not for anyone looking to be serious or competitive. This game runs purely on charm, fun, and cheesy puns. You play a cube trying to survive in the hard natural world. You start off small consuming other animals to mutate colors and grow limbs. As you progress through the levels you grow more limbs which lets you combine different colors which puts the limbs in new orientations. You can have a body of two legs (all limbs are square of course) or a body like a snake. Each mutation wi...

Keep It Classic 0

It's simple. Fire Emblem Awakening is a must own game for the 3DS. It takes everything about the series you love and just makes it better. I'm no expert at Fire Emblem but I can't imagine any previous game nailing it better than this. The first thing you will notice is that the graphics are outstanding. The 3D is used to perfection in cut scenes and the models are beautiful. During the combat scenes you can even control the camera, not a big deal but still very nice. Everything looks very crisp...

Clever But Simple 0

Contact has a few things wrong with it but it still keeps a sense of charm around it. It's a very folksy and simplistic game but the story is nonetheless entertaining and funny. The use of breaking the fourth wall is well done and the mechanics give you a breath of fresh air from all of the other RPGs. Rarely will you play a game where you as a person holding a machine are an actual character in the game. These kinds of interactions can be found now where else. The issues the game has come mostl...
