It’s back now. I don’t know what has changed.

At 33:55 they covered up this part of the video:

@cubidog: The game you're thinking of is Mugsters I believe.

Also, skimming through the video again I did see Jeff's email address at one point...

I am watching it now, and it appears that Jeff accidentally gave out his own phone number.

I was just watching it and I do remember him saying what his phone number spelled out. Unfortunate, if that's what it was. I still have the video saved on my computer.

I assume the PlayStation version is better but the question I would ask is, "can I play XCOM 2?" There was a free weekend on Steam recently and it would not run at all for me.

That being said, if it's free, why not give it a shot? If you like it enough for one playthrough you may want to get the expansion anyway and if you don't then you just saved yourself $40.

Going by the movie logic of moving pictures --> movies, it would fit to go from "controllable media" to "controllies". Alternately, "conbits" or "visibits" for "controllable/visible bits" since we so often talk about them as being 8-bit games, having a 16-bit aesthetic, etc and it fits in with "films" getting their name from being on rolls of film.

This logic doesn't really work because motion pictures is already an established phrase which is shortened to movies. If you went from video games to, like, "vidies (viddy? videe? vidii?)" it would make more sense.

It's too bad "games" is such a broad term that it can't be automatically associated with video games *ahem* videes.

Smash Bros and CoD Zombies...

I feel vindicated whenever Jeff talks about either of these.

Not that this thread is directly about Kingdom Heartache but...

I didn't get the impression that Kingdom Heartache was ever supposed to be a dig on the game. It seemed to me that Ben actually wanted to get through it and was genuinely interested in getting caught up for KH3. I think the joke of the series was just bringing people in who were maybe less interested in this idea and "tricking" them to sit in on an episode; the joke wasn't supposed to be on the game as much as the people with him. Unfortunately I think this derailed the series since there wasn't any continuity or support for Ben, on the couch.

This, and the dated game mechanics led to Ben having to keep things interesting, with no real follow through from previous episodes.

I'm not a KH fan at all but I was much more interested in Kingdom Heartache after the first episode when I thought it was just going to Ben and Brad playing through the game, like a weekly endurance run.

@kingbonesaw: I buy lots of groceries there and earn most of my Optimum points that way so it's a great deal when I can get $170 off of a Switch. It is weird that they sell them in the first place, though. With Optimum it's one of the best ways to get deals on that stuff.

Next I'm going to try and get back up to enough points for a Pro Controller so clearly I haven't learned my lesson.

I agree that their return policy sucks. I did, in fact, go in and ask to swap it for a different one and they straight up said no and to deal with Nintendo.

It's actually true that the box would be easy enough to package back up without any indication that it was opened... I would then probably be able to return it.

If anyone is wondering it's a large Canadian chain called Shoppers Drug Mart. They have a reward program called Optimum and I cashed in $170 worth of points. I would never have bought it from them without that kind of discount and because of it I'm probably just going to send it to Nintendo for repair.
