Well, for a Floridian anyways. It's has gotten down to 38 F north of town and 40 F where I live. When I left for school this morning there was frost on the ground. I can't remember the last time it has gotten this cold this early here in Pensacola, FL. I don't know if it's just a random cold spell or that we are going to have a colder winter than usual. Either way, I like it. I always love winter weather. Not many people here do, though. To me, there's nothing like taking a nice walk in chilly sunny weather. It always feels good. I hope we do have a colder winter than usual. Soon I will have to break out the hot cocoa. ^__^
Well, I didn't just vote. I voted on Monday, the first day of early voting. There was a long line going outside of the library into the parking lot. It was very nice seeing such a big turnout on just the first day. I was also interviewed by the local news and was on TV during their night spot. For all of you US citizens reading this, go out and vote, early or on November 4th. Either way, make your voice heard and vote!
P.S. If any of you want to see the clip of part of my interview, just send me a heads up and I will send you the link. Remember, though, I am extremely introverted and not good in front of cameras.
It's also been in the past few NCAA Football games. It's when you are totally annihilating your opponent the entire game. But then, somehow, when you are pitching a shutout, during the last few minutes of the game the opposing team, which through the whole game has done nothing but jack shit, suddenly transforms into 2001 Miami Hurricanes and goes Peyton Manning 2 minute drill on your ass and becomes absolutely unstoppable on offense and scores a touchdown or two. It's really annoying because you knows that it's near impossible that that happens and it happens in every single game you dominatet in NCAA Football. What makes it more annoying is that the opposing team is usually bottom feeders like Duke and FIU. They definitely need to fix this. Apparently they don't realize that shutouts DO happen in college football.
Anyways, that's my early morning rant for the week. Have a good rest of the week fine people!
As well as Half-Life 3 and Portal 2 Beta. Seriously, what is with Google's fetish with "Beta"? Is there anything not owned by Google that doesn't still have "Beta" after it, even after years of being on the market?
I still heart Google, though. I mean, I have to. They are going to rule the world one of these days.
Now if I had a third choice, I would have to go with Jill Wagner, the woman from the Mercury car commercials. She is ridiculously hot, but the kind of hot that you can easily see walking around in your mall, which makes her even hotter.
Sorry that I went off track, but I just recently saw a Mercury car ad that she was in and I had to rant about how hot she is.
