Video games are amazing because they are an escapism to life's problems and they show the minds of many creative people out there in the world.

Games are fun. It sort of ends there. I don't think anyone got into games because of the escape they can provide or story telling, they played them first because they were fun and then realized the rest.

TB, "an escapism" doesn't make any sense. "because they are an escape to life's problems" would work.

Those are all good reasons, and I abide by those myself.

Speak for yourself, Artie.  For good or ill, some people definitely use games to escape.

I agree completely with Artie. I started playing them when I was little because they were fun. Now I play them because of all the other things I've noticed about them.
