oh absolutly... Thats why I loved it. The smile on my face realizing that this place was gonna most likely turn out like a twilight zone episode was awesome... what was the episod where the husband and wife are running around their town and no one is there, everything is pristine? they realize that the entire town is like a prop. Fake food in the cupboards, cars dont work, trees and grass are fake... They just wander around this ficticious town for the whole episode and then the camera pans out to find that our main characters are nothing more than 2 peices of a little girls doll set playing in her little prop town that every little girl has. Great episode. Thats what I was thinking when I played Tranquillity Lane.
I believe giving scrap metal to Walter in Megaton and NOT accepting caps for it will work as well.... Careful though, Walter took a long walk off a short ledge in my game and basically killed himself... I cried.
I enjoyed the sniper rifle a great deal, though they were hard to maintain due to limited availability. Thing is, they worked really well as a short range weapon in situations and in VATS. I strongly suggest having one in Yao Guai and Deathclaw infested areas, as you can squeeze off 2 or three rounds before they even know what hit em'

its ok, my yesteryears were spent in the wretched hive of scum and villainy known as System Wars over at Gamespot... if there is one thing I've learned from that dump, gamers get highly deffensive when you A. state a fact that they can't live with and B. they realize their purchase was not the most sound. Bottom line is to just love what you spent your money on and take your lumps in stride. Im sure there is a legion of Fallout 3 fans out there who wish they had purchased it on another platform.
AKA... DROP SOME WEIGHT!!! combine (repair) the same guns at all times, this improves their quality and drops weight. Also works with Armor. Don't pick up garbage you dont need... be wise about your inventory and you shouldnt have a problem... oh and fast travel.
