Yes i realize that this is way late but i have to say something about it. 
 
If everybody remembers i posted a blog (check it out here) saying that i think that Avatar wasn't going to win best picture and i gave my thoughts on why it wasn't going to win. But now The Hurt Locker won and everybody said that i was wrong and that Avatar was going to win. But guess what Hurt Locker won so i think that i have earned the right to say: "HA HA". 
 
I don't mean to offend all of you guys but i have to say i had more faith in the academy than any of you guys

Avatar is boring and uninspired. Ohh pretty effects... who fucking cares. 
 
The Hurt Locker was actually a really, really well thought out movie. 
 
Its called having good tastes. 

The hurt locker was an very enjoyable and tense movie, had me at the edge of my seat a couple times, good movie!

Why didn't you say this back when it was revelant? I think people would have cared slightly more.
 
Also, I am quite sure making a thread about a thread is against the rules. So I imagine this thread will get closed.

Watched hurt locker a few days ago, it was meh, not bad but not award winning i think. I also just watched the pacific on hbo....i was more tense and excited from that than hurt locker. Old news though so oh well, academy(or was it oscars? i can never tell, its the same crap) usually picks dumb movies anyway.
