They seem to be short, unnecessary segments. The collectibles also seem meaningless, unless you want some lore.

I haven't finished the game, but I'm about halfway through and I've only been forced out of the Animus twice. You can leave anytime you like by hitting up on the d-pad when in the menus, but no thanks.

And as far as I can tell, there are no trophies for anything related to those segments, other than progressing through the story.

Of course.

Unbiased, I'm sure. Haha

Would you want someone to review it that hates mario?

Yes I would. I already know it's a good game. I would like to see someone review it that's a normal person. Maybe Jeff.

My best guess is Dan. But I wish someone else would have done it. I feel like the biggest fan boy for Mario probably shouldn't do the review since he will always give a extra good review. I would rather see what Jeff had to say about it.

Also, I'm sure the Quick Look is from GBE but, again, I would have liked it to be from the west crew.

@imhungryyou only play as that character for the short out of animus sequences. You do play as Bayek for the rest of the game, as far as I know.

It seems like Ubi took parts from The Witcher, Dark Souls, and Black Flag and mashed up together.

The quest structure, mounts, and the-mount-following-the-road system feels straight out of The Witcher.

Combat, with it's lock on and rb and rt buttons feel like Dark Souls.

And the map and the rest of the AC stuff from Black Flag.

This game seems to have more in common with AC4: Black flag than Syndicate or Unity, if that matters.

"Real world" related spoiler: You play as a woman named Layla in modern times and it's in 3rd person and she's a Templar..

I already have it preordered on PSN, but i really dislike the out of Animus stuff and I was really hoping that they got rid of but I guess not.

Another real mild spoiler: You can't leave the starting area until you finish a few quests. So, no free roam right away.

I hope I was able to mark it spoiler enough, I know some people are sensitive to that.

Also, the Middle East is selling it earlier, so naturally people are streaming it on Twitch. Beware.
