I just heard the news about Giant Bomb. My heart hurts. I immediately remembered something said in an old podcast when they said they were going to have a subscription model.

Maybe this CBS thing won't be all that bad, but damn it all to hell we all know it isn't going to be the same anymore. I mean I just lost GamesRadar, have you seen what they did to that site? Almost the entire staff got replaced, they no longer have a podcast and they no longer have forums. And then Tested looks like an April Fool's day joke and Screened lost half of their staff. I pray things stay the same with Giant Bomb, but damn it does my heart hurt. If things don't work out here you can always find me on my back up forums, but I really hope I am blowing this out of proportion and that by this time next year this blog post seems ridiculous.
