For the record I managed to win 4 games and only lost the last against a diamond player so it ranked me in Plat 
 
I think it takes together some stats like maybe APM or how long the game took along with the "How many wins did he get?" score

I'm gonna say less spread over distance, perhaps slugs instead of pellets to make it more of a traditional rifle weapon?

I think the biggest problem with switching is that the average American has no concept of just how big a meter is or just how heavy a kilogram is, but it certainly should be the standard for government and engineering stuff.

You can hack it into DX9 only mode if you're really that angry. 

Should I import my guy from the original campaign?  Does that make the game too easy or will I miss out on cool gear if I do it?

Between me and my friends I try not to use Ryu and spam hadoken (cause that's all I can do) unless they specifically ask to fight that.
 
I try to figure out what they can do against it whenever I find a move that seems overpowered cause I figure it's SF and there's probably a way to take care of it.
 
Also I play Dan a lot to give my friends a chance to win :P
