not only is my rather irritating sickness improving, so is my performance in sporting. which is great. i really intend to do well this year in cross country, i consider it one of the most important factors of my life at the moment. it's probably kind of shallow for me to think this way, but this is the theory i've always lived by in competition: you either win, or you didn't try hard enough. i don't believe in the "it's all about having fun, no matter how well you do" mindset. it's just the way i'm trained to think. sure, we can have fun, but when it comes down to it, we're out there to fucking annihilate six other high schools at a sport we aim to truly dominate at.
today i also downloaded Perfect World, which is an MMORPG kindly pointed out to me by some fucktard whose name i will not divulge for fear that i will be flamed simply for conversing with this fucktard. i also played some, and leveled up my rather hawt character to a somewhat less noobish level 4. it's fairly traditional MMO fare with some nice features thrown in for good measure. i really love the chinese-themed music, it's truly excellent in both composition and atmosphere. the graphics aren't too shabby either. and the fact that i can fly wherever the FUCK i want right from the get-go is an instant plus. and all this for FREE? WHY would you even CONTEMPLATE buying WoW?
