The entire comments section seems to be exploding. I sincerely and genuinely don't understand what the problem is? My voices tell me to jump off bridges, and no I'm not joking. I've done it twice and now have home crisis team visits once a week. If Brad's voices tell him his hair is out of place then that's nice. His hair is pretty good.
Damned Millennials not knowing who Steve McQueen is!
I just made a facebook post expressing how sad that made me. In all sincerity. I love Steve McQueen and I'm damn sad that the younger generation of people are starting to forget figures like him.
Anyway, I had to google how to spell epitome (because I'm a bit slow) and I literally just discovered that if you google 'epitome of cool' you get pictures of Steve McQueen and James Dean... go figure.
I really really really wanted to get into Kingdom Hearts. When it got remastered for PS4 I was so excited, but when I read the details, I had absolutely no idea which game was Kingdom Hearts 1, or which games to play first. It hurt my brain. So I gave up. This feature is the only way I'll ever see Kingdom Hearts.
@magusmaleficus: I'm not attempting to speak for anyone. I could be completely wrong! But I don't think there's enough goof. The videos don't really fall into any category. It's neither twitch levels of skill, nor is it youtube levels of goof. Like most people have been saying, the guys just spend most of the video pointlessly looting. Then they suddenly get killed. That's it.
One of the best runs I've seen is when it was just Abby and Vinny. It felt like they knew maybe it wouldn't be a great run, so they weren't all serious about it. None of this "I have a level one backpack" stuff over and over again. Jeff and Vinny 'make' these videos, with their banter. Without them, I think it would be boring, and that's not good considering people are starting to complain about it growing dull.
Hopefully, the guys mix it up. Still going to watch, because it's Giant Bomb :P
@pixelope: I think it's an Americanism. We aren't always going to pronounce words the same. Another car example is Hyundai. In the UK we won't have any idea what they're talking about the way they pronounce it.
:( Everyone seems to be saying the same thing. I wish this weren't true, but I agree. The series has just turned into the team constantly trying to find houses to loot, even after they have all the equipment they need (95% of these videos), being scared when they think someone might be near, and then being killed during a very brief spate of sudden, all out confusion. I know no one is making us click play on this series, but it would genuinely be great to watch the guys play well. Perhaps in the next episode... Jason Takes Murder Island... it could be a solo run. I think inherently, playing solo means less looting, as you're aware that you don't have anyone to cover your back so you're always looking up. I also honestly believe that they're planning way too much. This game isn't that deep: Practice shooting, find the equipment you need, be aware of your surroundings, stay in cover when appropriate, and keep in the circle. That's it.
