Why is it awesome that there are areas in Zelda that one can't go to due to being too weak, and having your ass handed to you by enemies if you want to wander off before doing a quest. In other open world games where there are areas with powerful creatures you don't think about it again, you just accept that you need to level up further or complete more quests before you venture into the wild. It's not seen as "awesome", it just is what it is. Horizon for example; once you pass the gate and head to the desert there are machines that can easily destroy you, but just because it's Zelda it suddenly becomes amazing?
