That is what upsets me a bit, because we all know Dan likes to play things up some times and that appears to be at least somewhat of a factor here. I don't get how a sane person can have RDR1 be their game of the generation. Then play RDR2 and gush over it for a few weeks, to all of a sudden taking the stance that they Hate the game.
It can 100% happen. I was all onboard with Persona 5 for like 15 hours. The next 30 I spent convincing myself I liked it, then after this I realised I actually really hated playing it (and might always have?) and couldn't wait for it to be over. I uninstalled it at one point and watched the ending on youtube and glad I did. Persona 4 might be in my top 5 of all time too, so yeah. Can definitely see where Dan is coming from.
@kmj2318: I'm guessing since they've mentioned most of the work was in the CSS and design that their stylesheets are a mess and outdated. Because yeah, I could knock out the reskin code in very little time if given basic directions from a designer. If it is a mess then it could take longer but it's not a difficult task, they have the old site to go off lol.
@stuntaneous: :O I'm going to have a crack with this. I'm a front end dev and was going to try recreating the site from scratch for fun but this might be easier on my spare time...
I wonder what the ratio of dark and white theme users was for the old site and if that informed the direction of the redesign? Would be weird if they weren't tracking that and if the change was truly because Jeff likes it better.

Always confused with the reaction people have to Hope. He's an angsty 14 year old boy, and every angsty 14 year old boy is a massive jerk so his characterisation made sense to me.
I hated every character in 13 (even Sazh, what a waste of time his sub plot is) so having one of them plotting the murder of a few of them worked for me on a meta level. The thing I was legitimately pissed about was when Hope and Snow reconciled. Snow did get his mother killed - he used his charisma to rally a bunch of rubes into a failing mission, then afterwards, as you said, he's laughing and joking around? Fuck Snow. Hope should have stabbed him to death, would have improved the game 1000000 fold. That sub plot was the most interesting thing 13 had going for it until it was resolved. The rest is garbage.
