But buyer, beware 0

DbD has some extreme balancing issues, partly caused by the mode, partly by perks and partly by some quircks in for example the map designs and player techniques. Add to that the toxic community and you'll eventually regret buying this game. Don't get me wrong, my first 40 hours were a lot of fun, but than I stumbled upon the same balance issues again and again, which made DbD more frustrating than fun. Perhaps the inherent problem of the game is that it doesn't flat out say if you 'won' a game....

It's OK x3 0

Just keep it with the original game and the experimental DLC of it. This stand-alone 'sequel' is just a disappointment. It looks and plays great, but the campaign gets tiresome just too fast: you've to replay the same three (desert) maps three times in the same way as you did before. I got exhausted with the campaign not even half-way into it.It would have been OK if the player - with every revisit of the map - would start on a different spot or had to do something else. In that way, the egregio...

Charming, little monster 0

This game was like crack to me: I couldn't take distance from it eventhough I wanted to stop. I eventually did stop playing after I unlocked the last achievement, because by that point any player would have seen more than enough of this simple but suprisingly deep game.Kingdom is a sidescroller where your interactions are limited to the things you spent your money on: hire workers to build and upgrade, archers to kill, farmers to recieve more money. With the exception of one mount in New Lands, ...

Like an unforgiving teacher: seems unfair, but you'll understand later 0

A great, fast-paced space shooter, that feels dynamic and fresh even after 20+ hours. At first, the difficulty might scare you away, but with practise comes pay-off. It becomes challenging, but never too easy (except for the first quarter of the game). The loot system, which also seems harsh, seems to be just right, though I feel like some items should have been more expensive compared to other items. The content of loot you will find in missions are random, as well as the the provisions of the ...

Theme Prison 2000 0

A really addictive game that feels like it will never end. The title might be a little misleading, as I found myself worring about management a lot more than about architecture, especially since the player can't even build a multiple floored building and that he doesn't have to worry about the mathematical complexities that come with it. Despite the title, the amount of time you can spent with it is amazing. It has lots of mods and downloadable maps, a short but great campaign that functions as ...

Solid, turn-based RTS action 0

Solid gameplay, mostly replayable and interesting because of the well-programmed AI, but the overall experience suffers from the hedious artstyle that leaves a bad first impression.SotS is an turn-based strategy game, inspired by the perfect Advance Wars series, which are only playable on Nintendo devices. The former is not as deep and doesn't follow the 'grid rule' (like a chessboard) like the latter. You move units anywhere within a certain radius, and you are limited to five actions per turn ...

Bro-view.... :') 0

I'll be blunt, though most people seem to disagree with me. I didn't have a lot of fun with this game be it by myself, with a friend next to me or with multiple people online. The experience was mostly jarring, frustrating and plain annoying at times.I'm let to believe that there was a time where this game would run perfectly fine for most people, but that it currently runs terrible. I'm only aware of the latter. Among the freezing, stuck-in-loading and the jittery online play, I recently had a ...

Maybe get it on IOS 0

I refunded the game for several reasons. First, this game isn't even optimised well for PC. I can run games like Doom and Battlefront perfectly fine, but this small thing stutters. Another problem is the hedious UI, which screams that this game was MEANT for a mobile device. Which brings me to my biggest argument to avoid this steam port: the game is FREE on iOS. It is baffling they ask 15 euros for it here, or even just for 3,50 during a sale. The game even runs better on my Iphone 5! The grind...

A grim experience 0

LN is mostly 'experience/narratively' driven, by which I mean that the developer focussed more on the emotional and aesthetical aspects of the game. The actual gampeplay – which is solving 'puzzles' and relying on twitch reactions – should not be the main reason to even buy this game. In fact, there are no puzzles, and due to the lack of responsiveness of the avatar, it is also hard to argue that LN is meant as a challenge (like Limbo or Inside). The most intens moments is running to...

Diversity 0

Weird to finally review this game, after playing it for so long since release day in 2005 (non-stop for the first view months on the OG Xbox). The servers were down for a while, but thank the lord for Gameranger: a service that runs multiplayer for really old, deserted games. As most us know now, you don't need that service anymore, since you can just jump online right away!Obviously, BF2005 holds up, otherwise I would not have played it these last view years. I played every stage about a 100 ti...
