Thanks for the write up. I actually only stumbled onto this game today and I was hooked by the videos I watched. Looks like a pretty good story and I've just ordered it.

Hold the line! Don't give in to crappy pre-order exclusives.

I thought it was okay with the amount of things that were shown but I didn't get excited at all because there were no (good) surprise reveals.

Lmao Microsoft needs some other IP's this is getting sad this is like the 5th halo for the 360 gears is stale as fuck also 

Especially excited for Gears of War 3's HORDE MORDE, as put by Ice T.
 
But yeah the conference sucked.

Played Left 4 Dead a lot before it came out.
 
Superman Returns, no idea why but I thought it was great but I never got the game.
 
Batman: Arkham Asylum and Just Cause 2 I put a good few hours into before they came out and I got them.
 
And of course I played that PS1 demo collection that came with the console so many times (Medievil and Tekken 3 etc.)

I know it is an achievement whorish thing to say, but I do love to see a game like this with no multiplayer achievements. I never usually go for the 1000/1000, but I like to know that I have a chance going for them all.
