GOTY 2013
Here's my GOTY list based on what I've played this year. This is harder than I thought it would be. Kudos to all who have submitted them and the folks who have to do this and keep journalistic integrity.

Just a fantastic and moving game...and I actually enjoyed the combat, it wasn't the best, but wasn't that bad.
Great story and hey, it's bioshock...ending was almost as good as the Last of Us.
A solid surprise...I had a ton of fun playing this game, and the re-imaging of Lara Croft made me interested in this series for the first time in a long time.
Speaking of revivals...This was a series I was never into. I played a lot of this game in the quiet months of January to Mid-March, and have revisited it since.
Feel bad putting this one @ 5, b/c I absolutely loved it...just wish it was a little more.
I loved Dead Rising, I liked but never finished Dead Rising 2. Dead Rising 3 is the reason I love my Xbox One. This game is just plain fun, with a lot to offer.
I'll admit, I haven't finished it, but this game constantly has me thinking of it. Problem is, whenever I fire it up, the kid wants the 3DS.
See above # 7...It's like a tug of war between the wii U and the 3ds w/ my 3 year old.
I didn't know what to expect when I played this, but this was probably some of the most fun that I've had with a video game all year. I thought the broom closet bit was great, but after listening to the GB GOTY deliberations, I now have reason to go back and keep trying to go the wrong way.
This is another game I haven't finished, and really need to put more time into. But the sheer surprise in quality and my newly piqued expectations have earned this a spot on this list.
Other games I would readily swap out in the 10 hole are:
Guacamelee!
Injustice
...and maybe even RYSE: Son of Rome
